ZEB RATCLIFF

A great haircut should look good when you leave, but also look good when you come back.

Pronouns: He/Him

I opened CRAFT because: I wanted to create a safe space for both our guests and hairdressers. So often people walk into a salon and feel out of place or unwelcomed because of who they are, how they identify, how they look, or for any other reason that some feel deemed necessary. I wanted to eliminate that. We accept the unaccepted, and cultivate a personal experience no matter which side of the chair you're on.

Zodiac Sign: Aries

Go-to coffee order: Pumpkin Spice Latte with soy and a pump of caramel syrup during the holidays, and a Cinnamon Dulce Latte with soy and one pump of caramel syrup most other times. Of course from Starbucks!

Favorite place to eat in Omaha: Margaritas Cantina

Celebrity you would invite over to Sunday dinner: 50 Cent

Most practiced hobby: Boxing

Trend forecast: We will for sure see a movement towards the haircut. The past few years have been simple and subtle, but I foresee people experimenting more with layers and bangs. "Lived-in" looks will also spill over into haircuts with people growing their pixies into a mullet, or mixie as we call it. Precision based haircutting will make its way back. This will also reflect the color trends, causing the use of less foils and more dimensional natural color. In turn, we may see a more natural "money piece" highlight where it brightens around the face, but is not high impact and not so bold.
